Receive the best money saving deals in Myrtle Beach!
Once you’ve squared away everything at work, packed up the kids, loaded up the car, and traveled the distance to finally arrive at your Myrtle Beach vacation, we understand if you don’t exactly thrill at the idea of getting in the car again.
Luckily, Long Bay Resort is located in a great area of Myrtle Beach. We’re not in the most crowded part of the beach, but we are still walking distance from some great area attractions, including several of our favorite restaurants!
Check out these great places, all located within walking distance of Long Bay Resort:
River City Café
208 73rd Avenue North – less than five minutes walk from Long Bay Resort
This is the top burger spot in Myrtle Beach, hands down. Try an Everything But the … platter. But consider sharing. They mean business.
Jungle Safari Golf
71st Avenue N. and Kings Highway – Five to 10 minutes walk from Long Bay Resort
Everyone loves mini golf! It’s practically the official sport of Myrtle Beach. And Jungle Safari is one of our favorite courses. Remember that mini golf is cheaper before 6 p.m., and usually less crowded just after they open, 9 a.m. in July-October, 10 a.m. in November and December.
Outback Steak House
7025 N. Kings Highway – Ten minutes walk from Long Bay Resort
We know you probably have an Outback at home, but sometimes that brown bread with the giant knife and a bloomin’ onion sounds good. Oh, and the steaks. Those are pretty good, too.
7223 N. Kings Highway – Five-10 minutes walk from Long Bay Resort
This bakery originated in Georgetown and has slowly been adding locations along the Grand Strand. Kudzu makes our absolute favorite key lime pie, as well as amazing cookies, cakes and muffins plus an impressive array of specialty frozen foods.
Liberty Tap Room and Grill
7651 N. Kings Highway – 12 minutes walk from Long Bay Resort
Library Tap Room serves up solid dinners and lunches as well as cocktails and a wider selection of beers than available at many other Myrtle Beach bar and grills. Be sure to stop in for happy hour, available only in the bar and beer garden areas. We love the loaded potato skins and the $2.50 liberty pints.
6807 N Kings Hwy – 10-15 minutes walk from Long Bay Resort
Hey, sometimes you need to load up on cheap, silly trinkets and Myrtle Beach T-shirts. We get it. Bargain Beachwear is a much more affordable option than many others, so swing through and shop to your heart’s content.
