Long Bay Resort’s Martin’s Restaurant Features New Breakfast Menu

Restaurant Celebrates 19th Anniversary By Serving Breakfast For The First Time 

June 30, 2012, Myrtle Beach, S.C.-- Martin’s Restaurant, the acclaimed on-site eatery at Brittain Resort Management-owned Long Bay Resort in Myrtle Beach, has added breakfast to its menu this summer.  One of many properties bookable through www.MyrtleBeachHotels.com, it is ranked #19 of 230 Myrtle Beach Hotels by Trip Advisor.

Martin’s Restaurant’s breakfast menu features a full range of à la carte items, including crab cakes with eggs benedict, blintzes, steak and eggs and omelets.  A buffet option for $8.95 includes eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, grits, cereals, French toast and an omelet station. The breakfast menu is available from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. throughout the summer and the buffet is available from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The kitchen at Martin’s is run by Martin Dobr, a chef of Czechoslovakian descent who opened Martin’s Restaurant in 1994. In addition to the new breakfast menu, he is known for his pan-European specialties, from frog legs to Chicken Francese to Wienerschnitzel, which he claims is the best for a thousand miles

“It may be difficult to completely verify the claim,” said Patrick Norton, vice president of marketing for Brittain Resort Management, “but everyone I know who has tried it has raved about it. Martin’s is just one of many great restaurants operating at our properties.”
