Fly South To Long Bay Resort This Winter!
If you’re considering winter visit to the beach, Long Bay Resort could be your Myrtle Beach home away from home!
“Many of our guests who come in the winter are from Canada and up north, where the winters are really bad, it’s snowing, it’s really cold. So they like to come down here for our weather,” said Cesar Colon of Long Bay Resort. “Most of them are regular guests, they know our facilities, and that’s why they continue coming back. Even the new people have usually been referred by someone who’s stayed with us before.”
The guests who come and stay for short or long winter getaways enjoy the area’s shopping, including the Tanger Outlets on Highways 501 and 17, as well as the shows. Many of the area theaters have excellent Christmas shows that run through the new year, and our community theaters have shows well into spring. Plus, many of the local attractions are open year-round, including Broadway at the Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, the Oceanfront Boardwalk and our hundreds of area golf courses.
Of course, there's also the beach and the gorgeous ocean views you can enjoy at the Long Bay Resort in Myrtle Beach. You won't have to worry about crowds, and the beach in winter is as peaceful as it gets. Long Bay's guest also enjoy onsite amenities such as our Starbucks, Martins restaurant for fine European-style dining, as well as the indoor pool and lazy river.
“We also have an onsite golf director who can help them book their tee times—winter is big for golf in Myrtle Beach,” Colon said. “Really, they come to relax.”
