Bay View Resort Guests Love Sharkey’s on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk
When you stay at Bay View Resort, you’re in such a great location on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk you have plenty of options for dining out. Bay View guests love getting out and checking out the feasting options and one popular dining spot is Sharkey’s Bar and Grill. Sharkey’s offers the trifecta: it’s got a great location on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, great beach drinks and tasty bar bites.
“We were staying next door. This became our last stop each night before heading back to the room,” wrote one recent Yelp reviewer. “Great friendly staff … drink prices were reasonable. Loved that it was right on the beach.”
Sharkey’s is a casual bar and grill with typical beach bar food menu like sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers, oysters and wings. The establishment usually has great specials on signature drinks such as the Malibu sunrise, daiquiris and margaritas. During happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m., you can get great deals including $3 well drinks and $1 off select draft beer. And if you’re in the mood to stretch your vocal cords, head down to Sharkey’s on Friday nights from 8 p.m. to midnight for karaoke.
Sharkey’s is also planning big changes for the summer season. Though details have yet to be released, expect a new beachfront tiki bar, as well as more of a Polynesian theme from the décor to food and drinks.
Sharkey’s is located a stone’s throw from Bay View resort at 600 N. Ocean Blvd. Bay View guests can walk to Sharkey’s or to any of the other restaurants located on the 1.5-mile long Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Boardwalk and Promenade, which runs along the beach from the 2nd Avenue to 14th Avenue piers. Bay View Resort also offers many onsite amenities and options, including a Starbucks onsite where you can get your favorite drinks and artisanal snacks, indoor pools and an outdoor splash deck and an indoor lazy river.
For more information, you can call Sharkey’s at 843-626-4411.
